We are a non-profit, secondhand store, located in the heart of the North Conway Village, adjacent to the Gibson Center for Senior Services on 14 Grove Street.

In 2009, the Gibson Center acquired the Kenison House next door on Grove Street, another historically significant 1910 building. A 900 sq. ft., of architecturally appropriate addition was added.  The added space allowed us to display more of the high quality items we receive in donation and have a designated donation room for sorting by our volunteers. Many features of the original 1910 home are still very visible. The grandniece of Thelma Kenison visits annually and is thrilled with the charm and historic features she remembers as a child.

The mission of the Thrift Store is to support the transportation, programs and nutrional services of the Gibson Center but we are also here for our broader community.  Over 100 homes in the Conway area alone were lost or damaged by Tropical Storm Irene in October 2011. We supplied clothing, bedding and personal necessities to impacted families at no cost. We did the same for guests of the Red Jacket that suffered a catastrophic fire in 2022.  We’re ready to do it again if the need arises.

Clothing at the Thrift StoreWe feature adult women’s and men’s clothes, shoes, boots, accessories, jewelry, winter coats, ski and athletic wear. Additionally, we have small housewares, bedding, gifts and a hilarious collection of Holiday themed items for Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas and beyond.

We offer a boutique experience at Thrift Store prices. We hear from returning thrifters that this is always on their list of things to do when they visit the Mount Washington Valley. Friends bring friends.

Clothing at the Thrift StoreBesides giving you a great experience and bargain prices, our mission is to donate all of our profits to the Gibson Center for Senior Services. Every purchase made here directly funds the Meals on Wheels program to provide nutritious food to those in need. Our thrift store is run by volunteers and completely dependent on donations.  Our inventory changes constantly. By requesting only clean/undamaged items, it’s common to find brand new, name brand items with the tags still on!

We welcome you to come browse among the treasures.
